It was close, but Wildcats win 24-20
I won't bother with the re-cap, but I will say it was an entertaining game. The Huskies played well on defense, but the offense wasn't up to the task against the speedy KSU defense. Husky fans are hopeful for the future - most of the same team returns next year.

Schedule change for next year
The Huskies have lucked out of yet another idiotic bye-week selection. Rather than playing the Bye during the first week (again) they play Idaho. Idaho's a good team but shouldn't be much trouble for the more experienced Huskies. The Bye week is now moved to the week before Pac-10 play begins, just like God intended it to be.

1999 Pac-10 Pundits Poll.
I ended the season 11th of 162 in the Pac-10 Pundits poll, with my highest ranking being #10. See the results Here. Not bad! I didn't sign up for the hoops poll in time.

Husky record: 7-4 (6-2 Pac-10)
